Installation and startup and configuration of Redis under Linux

First step: Download the Redis installation package, download version: 3.0.5

Right-click on the terminal Input command in your directory: wget http://download.redis.io/releases/redis-3.0.5.tar.gz

Display download 100%, at which time the installation package has been downloaded

Step Two: unpack the installation package

Input command: Tar xzf redis-3.0.5.tar.gz

Step three: compiling

Switch to directory redis-3.0.5, enter command: CD redis-3.0.5

Compile input command: make

Fourth Step: Start the service

Input command: Src/redis-server start service

Fifth Step: Client Testing

Input: Src/redis-cli command
