Recently, DotNetCore is updated to 1.0.1, and Azure tools is also updated to 2.9.5. When an update attempt is made, it is found that the update of DotNetCore fails. The error code 0x80072f8a is not specified, and the update of DotNetCore is included in Azure Tools, the 0x80072f8a problem causes both software to fail to complete the update.
After studying the installation error log, we found that the installation was not successful because of the failure to download microsoft online resources due to certificate expiration. After resolving the certificate problem, the installation was successful! I would like to share with you the solution:
Solution 1, Modify the IE option, cancel the option"Check whether the server certificate has been revoked"
Solution 2,Change the certificate validity period.
I am not quite clear about the specific scope of the certificate validity period. However, after testing, I can directly change the annual validity period to 2015 to successfully install the certificate.
