Installation of ddd-3.3.12 under rhel5.5

I. Preparation

1. For rhel5.5, the X development environment must be installed.

2, http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/ddd/, download the latest ddd-3.3.12.tar.gz

Ii. Installation

1. InstallMotifOtherwise,"The Motif include file 'xm/xm. H' cocould not be found."

Virtual Machine vmware7, load rhel-server-5.5-i386-dvd.iso, go

# Cd/Media/rhel_5.5 \ i386 \ DVD/Server/// Directory,

# Rpm-IVH libxp *
# Rpm-IVH libXp-1.0.0-8.1.el5.i386.rpm

# Rpm-IVH libXp-devel-1.0.0-8.1.el5.i386.rpm

# Rpm-IVH openmotif *

2. Upload ddd-3.12.tar.gz to the server.

3. Installation

Ddd-3.3.12.tar.gz/usr/local # tar zxvf

/Usr/local # ddd-3.3.12/CD/

/Usr/local/ddd-3.3.12 #./configure// If an error occurs, the X development environment may not be installed. You can install the X development environment first.

/Usr/local/ddd-3.3.12 # Make

/Usr/local/ddd-3.3.12 # make install

 

Iii. Running

/Root # ddd
