Installation of MySQL under the CentOS6.9

Requires the installation of CentOS 6.9 on a virtual machine to achieve the following requirements
Installing the MySQL Database
Specific implementation process:

Telnet to the system with Xshell 5

View MySQL version information provided under Yum
Yum List | grep MySQL

Install MySQL
Yum install-y mysql-server MySQL Mysql-deve
After successful installation, such as:

Start MySQL, initialize for the first time

[[Email protected] script]# service mysqld start

Restart MySQL
[Email protected] script]# service mysqld restart

Change Password
[Email protected] script]# mysqladmin-u root password 123456

Connect to MySQL

[Email protected] script]# mysql-u root-p
