Installing VMware tools in a Linux environment

Introduction:

For Linux beginners, it is a headache to not have VMware Tools installed in a virtual VMware Tools software environment, and it is not possible to drag files from a host to a virtual machine. Install VMware tools to enhance virtual system performance.

Installing VMware tools in a virtual LIUNX environment is not as simple as a virtual environment win7, just click Install in the virtual W7 and ok-next-next. Install it below.

Installation process:

Insert Disc

Uninstall CDROM first

Enter the CD below the misc

Copy the Red Word compressed file to/tmp directory and cd/tmp view

Perform the decompression and find the file directory such as Vmware-tools-distrib

Exit the directory to the original location/tmp, and execute the Install command:

sudo vmware-tools-distrib/vmware-install.pl

Always enter the car and it's OK.

This [[email protected] tmp]# is the installation complete, reboot command

Shutdown-r now enters the system to verify everything ko!!!

This is the Linux inside the virtual machine installed Vmwaretools!!
