Installing MQ in a Linux environment

MQ : http://www-03.ibm.com/software/products/us/en/wmq/

The MQ package installed is wmqv600trial-x86_linux_2.tar.gz. will be wmqv600trial-x86_linux_2.tar.gz unzip to a directory.

(1) Execute the Accept license script :./mqlicense.sh–accept This script is to be installed WebSphere MQ of the software package MQ Licensing Procedures .  Critical , If this script is not configured correctly, it will cause MQ Installation Failed . –accept is to accept the license without starting the graphic directly.

(2) installing WebSphere MQ for Linux servers:

[Email protected] mq]# RPM-IVH mqseriesruntime-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm

[Email protected] mq]# RPM-IVH mqseriessdk-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm

[Email protected] mq]# RPM-IVH mqseriesserver-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm

Note : After the installation is complete, the relevant files will be automatically installed under the /opt/mqm , in the installation

mqseriesruntime-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm , the Setup program automatically creates an MQM user and MQM for the system   Group, after installation, you need to use that user for MQ configuration.

(3) installing the WebSphere MQ for Linux client:

[Email protected] mq]# RPM-IVH mqseriesclient-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm

(4) install the WebSphere MQ sample program (which includes amqsput,amqsget, AMQSGBR and AMQSBCG , etc.)

[[email protected] mq]# RPM-IVH mqseriessamples-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm sample program installed in /opt/mqm/samp/bin .

(5) installation MQ Other Packages

[Email protected] mq]# RPM-IVH mqseriesman-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm

[Email protected] mq]# RPM-IVH mqseriesjava-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm

[Email protected] mq]# RPM-IVH ibmjava2-sdk-1.4.2-0.0.i386.rpm

The last step above installs the jdk run environment if you already have the same or later versions of jdk No need to install.   (6)   The installation process creates a MQM  MQM  PASSWD  command:  

[[email protected] mq]# passwd MQM above operation under the root user operation, this MQ6.0 installation end.  The configuration-related command operations for MQ are under MQM users.

Attention:

If you are prompted when you execute the crtmqm command

-bash-3.2$ CRTMQM

-bash:crtmqm:command not found

You need to Configure the environment variables for the MQM user, edit the following file, and add the following as follows:

The first method: relative to the second safer is only valid for MQM users

1)-bash-3.2$ vi/var/mqm/.bash_profile

Path= $PATH:/opt/mqm/samp/bin:/opt/mqm/bin:bin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/x11r6/bin

2) Execute "." command to make this file effective

-bash-3.2$. . bash_profile

3) Once again try to implement the crtmqm or dspmqm command, you can find that it has been effective.

The second method:

1.su Root

2,vim/etc/profile

3, at the back of the add:

Path= $PATH:/opt/mqm/samp/bin:/opt/mqm/bin:bin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/x11r6/bin

4. Turn off the remote terminal to reopen without restarting the server

5,OK !!
