Installing PYPDF2 under Windows

Today the teacher assigned the task of writing text-processing scripts in Python, including handling pdf/doc/txt/excel and so on.

First deal with the PDF, surf the internet, Pypdf has stopped more, its function is relatively small, now use is PYPDF2.

But PYPDF2 I failed to install, and later found that it seems to be suitable for the Linux environment, and according to the command line error prompts the setup.py contained path statements changed, but there is a problem, the package directory does is not exist, Later, I found a similar question in a blog post:

It has a setup.py, I ran with "Python.exe setup.py install", but prompted "Error:package directory ' BS4 ' does not exist", It turns out that the default Python execution path is not in the current directory, but in the user directory below the C drive, so it's good to move the BS4 file over. Run well, generate a build folder, I know it must be placed in the Python file under the Lib folder, so the following BS4 moved to the LIB, it is OK. In the future, direct import can be used. It would have been easier for Linux users to install them.

So I put PyPDF2 this file folder in the Python.exe directory, and then put PyPDF2 into the Lib directory down, so OK, PyPDF2 installation success.
