Installing Redis under Ubuntu

1. Install and compile Redis:

2. $sudo su
4. $mkdir/usr/local/redis
6. $CD/usr/local/redis
8. $wget http://redis.googlecode.com/files/redis-2.0.0-rc2.tar.gz
10. $tar ZXVF redis-2.0. 0-rc2.tar.gz
12. $CD redis-2.0. 0-rc2
14. $make

2. Copy the file to the specified folder:

1. $CP redis.conf/etc/
2. $CP Redis-benchmark redis-cli redis-server/usr/bin/

3. Start the service and verify that:

1. $redis-server/etc/redis.conf

To see if it started successfully

1. $ PS-EF | grep Redis

To test the set and get methods:

2. $ redis-cli Set Key1 value1
4. Ok
6. $ redis-cli Get Key1
8. Value1

Close Service

2. $ redis-cli Shutdown
6. #关闭指定端口的redis-server
8. $redis-cli-p 6380 shutdown

So far, Redis has been able to run successfully
