Installing Redis under VMware

1: Download Redis installation package

Http://download.redis.io/releases/redis-4.0.2.tar.gz

2: Upload the downloaded installation package to/usr/local/src/

3: Unzip the Redis tarball

TAR-ZXVF redis-4.0.2.tar.gz

4:CD redis-4.0.2

5:make

6:make Prefix=/usr/local/redis Install

7: Mobile Redis profile redis.conf to the installation directory

CP./redis.conf/usr/local/redis/

8: Switch to the installation directory cd/usr/local/redis/

9: Start Redis Server

./bin/redis-server./redis.conf

10: Start the Redis client

./bin/redis-cli

11: Modify daemonize in config file redis.conf, change No to Yes, start with background process

12: View Redis process PS Aux|grep Redis
