Version:

1. Eclipse Classic is the eclipse Standard Edition: Standard Edition;

2. Eclipse IDE for Java developer: added Java Development plug-ins based on the Standard Edition;

3. Eclipse IDE for Java EE developers: added plug-ins developed by J2EE based on the Standard Edition

4. eclipse for RCP/plug-in developers: added RCP and plug-in development based on the Standard Edition

5. Eclipse IDE for C/C ++ developers: added C/C ++ plug-ins based on the Standard Edition.

Differences:

1. Different plug-ins and different development directions

2. decompress the package and find that the files in the plugins/features directories of different versions are different.

3. Eclipse classic with source

We recommend that you use eclipse classic. You only need to install and configure the plug-in yourself.
