Method/Step

First, we create a table with text content in Excel, such as figure, if you want to hide one of the cells, then we first select the table

Then click the right mouse button and select "Format Cells" in the pop-up window.

Next, in the Format cell dialog number, we click "Custom" and then enter a three colon or semicolon consecutively in the input box below the type;

Enter the next click OK, and then return to the table first, at this time we will find that the selected cell content disappeared, see the following figure

So how do you show hidden content? We still switch out the Format Cell Formatting dialog box, and then, in custom, reset the type to the system's default "common format"
