Learn how to use and customize templates to make it easier to control the content and appearance of WEB pages
Based on existing javabeans™ or other data sources, ibm®rational®application Developer V7.5.4 makes it easier to create javaserver™faces (JSF) controls. After your data is integrated into page Data view, you can drag data onto the Faces page, and you can use the wizard on the page to select the type of control you want to place (Input text fields, output text Fields, combo Boxes,da Ta Tables, and so on). After you make your decision, Rational application Developer will create these controls on the page for you. In addition, these controls will automatically be associated with your data.
Data templates enable you to control the options that appear in this wizard. You can edit options that already exist, such as changing all the StyleClass properties on the Check Box label, or adding a minimum or maximum length value to all Input Text controls. You can also delete any existing template options, add your own templates, or share templates between teams or organizations.
