Introduction to uninstalling an Oracle database

UninstallOracleDatabase

(1) choose "start"> "Settings"> "Control Panel"> "Management Tools"> "services" to stop all Oracle services.

(2) Start->Program-> Oracle-orahome81-> Oracle Installation products-> universal installer unload all Oracle Products

3. Modify the registry, Run regedit, and delete Oracle-related information.

A. Key values for deleting Oracle software

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE "software" oracle

B. Delete Oracle services

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE "system" CurrentControlSet "servies scroll through this list to delete all Oracle entries

C. Delete Oracle logs

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE "system" CurrentControlSet "evenlog" Application

4. Delete the Oracle system directory c: "Program Files" oracle

5. Delete Oracle environment variables

6. Delete the Oracle menu in the program menu

7. restart the system and delete the Oracle Home Directory.

Note: in step 2, if Oracle is not successfully installed, there may be no products that can be deleted, skip step 2. Generally, after Step 2 is executed, Steps 5 and 6 are automatically deleted.
