Workaround:

On Xcode, viewing the basic properties of a project will see two places to fill in the version number, one for phone version and the other for build. These two values are the same by default.

Version is the release number that is displayed externally, and also the version number shown on itunes, in the format "x.y.z".

Build is developed for internal use and is self-formatting.

We'll just modify the build number.

Change the build to 1.0.0 to 1.0.0.1, then recompile the package and upload it to Apple backstage via Xcode.
