Java Outputstream to String

OutputStream is stored as String, and OutputStream is the output stream used to output the file content. It does not provide input operations (that is, you cannot directly store OutputStream as String ). The following are two methods I have found:

// Method 1:
// Obtain the OutputStream from the file
OutputStream OS = new FileOutputStream (fileName );
OutputStreamWriter outw = null;
Outw = new OutputStreamWriter (OS );

String str = null;
Outw. write (str );
Outw. close ();
OS. flush ();
OS. close ();

// Method 2:
// Obtain the OutputStream from the file
OutputStream OS = new FileOutputStream (fileName );
ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream ();
OS. write (baos. toByteArray ());
Str = baos. toString ();

OS. flush ();
OS. close ();
