Java reflection and RTTI (runtime type information), javartti

The important thing is said three times:

Reflection is nothing magical! Reflection is nothing magical! Reflection is nothing magical!

  • When dealing with an unknown object through reflection, JVM simply checks the object to see which specific class it belongs to (same as RTTI ). Before using it to do other things, you must first load the class object of that class.
  • The class file of that class either exists locally or on the network.

That's all.

The difference between reflection and RTTI is when to obtain and open the class file.
  • RTTICompile timeOpen and check the class file. (In other words, we call the object method in a normal way)
  • Reflection onRuntimeOpen and check the class file.
