This error is generally due to the fact that the Java project in MyEclipse is a class file that was compiled with a later version of the JDK (jdk1.6) and is run on a lower version of the JDK virtual machine, resulting in this error resolution: Right-click the Tomcat server in MyEclipse, then select the JDK version in the JDK below the corresponding Tomcat server so that you can run the project with Tomcat to succeed. Other places to note the changes: 1. Java version of JDK version 2.myeclipse-->project facets in Java complier in short, the above few places are consistent.
