Java.net. bindexception: cannot assign requested address: cannot bind Solution

Source: Internet
Author: User

A piece of UDP program is very simple, but when the local machine test is okay, the server published to the public network (Linux) cannot be bound to an IP address, and java.net is reported. bindexception: cannot assign requested address: cannot bind error. The Code is as follows:

Socketaddress = new inetsocketaddress (serverhost, SERVERPORT );

DS = new datagramsocket (socketaddress );

Considering that UDP is not connected and only needs to be bound to the port, the code is changed to the following:

DS = new datagramsocket (SERVERPORT );

The problem is solved. Record it here.
