1. Definition

Way One: var  reg=New RegExp ('abc','gi');   // there are usually three modifiers, the meaning of i,g,m,i is to ignore the case to match, G means that the global match is matched to the first after the match does not stop continuing the match, m means that multiple lines match that is encountered after the line break does not stop the match continues until the match string ends.
Way Two: var  Reg=/abc/gi;

2. Methods

Test (), tests whether a string matches the regular var reg =/boy (s)? \s+and\s+girl (s)?/gi; var " Boy and girl " ; reg.test (str); // true
