JPPF 3.3.2 released, Java Parallel Processing Framework

JPPF is an open-source grid computing framework that can run multiple java applications simultaneously in a distributed execution environment. The JPPF framework uses a resource adapter compatible with the JCA 1.5 specifications to integrate with the J2EE application server, which provides the server with access to the original grid service.

JPPF 3.3.2 is a maintenance version that brings important bug fixes and improvements.

Bug fixes
  • JPPF-140 Node class loader's resource cache shocould perform proper cleanup
  • JPPF-145 Node execution manager does not clean up the data provider after job execution
  • JPPF-147 Deadlock in the driver
  • JPPF-148: Deadlock in the admin console at startup

  • JPPF-118 Improvements in NodeExecutionManagerImpl
  • JPPF-149 Enable on-demand cleanup of class loader resource cache
