JS controls the display and hiding of HTML elements

There are two ways to control the display and hiding of page controls using JS, two ways to take advantage of the two properties in the HTML style, and the difference between the two methods is whether the controls are still empty on the page after they are hidden.

Method One:

document.getElementById ("Eleid"). style.visibility= "hidden";
document.getElementById ("Eleid"). style.visibility= "Visible";

Using the above method to hide, the position of the page is also occupied by the control, display blank.
Method Two:

document.getElementById ("Printnum"). style.display= "None";
document.getElementById ("Returndate"). style.display= "inline";

The position of the page is not occupied after hiding using the above method.
