KDE 4.1.2 (Codename) stable version released

KDE 4.1.2, Codename, is the second maintenance correction version of KDE 4.1. Codename includes basic desktop and many other software packages, such as some management tools, Network Tools, educational software, multimedia software and Web development tools. You can download KDE 4.1.2 from the KDE website or from other websites that provide KDE download. KDE 4.1.2 has the following improvements and enhancements:

* The speed of file deletion has increased a lot (32 times the speed of file deletion in the official announcement)
* Fixed many bugs in KHTML.
* The Kopete team fixed a problem where Kopete crashed when using the ICQ, Yahoo, and Gadu-Gadu protocols.
* Comicbook backend modified file browser Okular
* KGpg is prone to crash.

For more detailed BUG fixes, see changelog. The KDE Team recommends that you upgrade KDE 4.1.1 or earlier to KDE 4.1.2. Before KDE 4.2.0 (may be January next year), the KDE team will release a KDE 4.1 maintenance version every month to provide KDE users with a more stable desktop environment.
