The operating system must meet the requirements, or the Kinect V2 SDK installation opportunity is not at all.
About USB3.0 I have something to say, USB3.0 this thing sure is a bit of a pit, not any USB3.0 device can be, a device with a less-than-compatible USB3.0 will result in the inability to read various frame data from Kinect v2.
Intel 7-Series motherboards are typically powered by USB3.0 and are usually available, but some individual vendors ' motherboards may still be unable to read the Kinect v2 frame data.
If the motherboard is not a source support USB3.0, with other USB3.0 master chip motherboard, there is a great chance that the Kinect v2 can not read the various frame data. I used the USB3.0 expansion card to connect to the Kinect v2 and bought at least two cards to connect the device successfully (the USB3.0 expansion card master chip is NEC 720202).
Here are a list of devices that can successfully connect to the Kinect v2: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/bb379e8b-4258-40d6-92e4-56dd95d7b0bb/ Confirmed-list-of-usb-30-pcie-cardslaptopsconfigurations-which-work-for-kinect-v2-during?forum=kinectv2sdk
