Large-capacity disk system planning for installing operating systems on servers

Cause: when the server is running the system, when the capacity of all disks used as a good array is greater than 2 TB or more, the disk capacity larger than 2 TB cannot be displayed in the system, it is so wasteful or unusable.

Solution: Change the startup mode to UEFI in the server BIOS. (There are two solutions)

1. In the bios, change the Boot Mode to UEFI mode. At this time, the disk partition table has been created, and you have to redo the raid and then install the system;
2. Do not partition a large virtual disk during system installation. After the system is installed, convert the large disk to GPT in disk management and then partition it. You need to redo the raid, reinstall the system. (Prerequisites: you must go to the server
