It was originally installed with a file named "maid" and found that it could not support vs2010 compilation well, so it was installed with a file named "maid", but the file cannot be associated after installation. m. mat .... I found it online and recorded the method for future use:
Restoration of MATLAB File Association
After the system is reinstalled, if the MATLAB installation target is not activated, the MATLAB does not need to be re-installed. (For the same reason, you can move the MATLAB installation target)
Just re-associate the Matlab-related files.
Run the following command in the MATLAB command window. (I tested it myself, but pay attention to using the Administrator to start MATLAB in win7)
Commandwindow; CWD = PWD; Cd ([MATLAB root '\ toolbox \ MATLAB \ winfun \ private']); fileassoc ('add ','. fig '); CD (CWD); disp ('changed Windows File Association. fig-files are now associated with Matlab. ')
Or
1. Open MATLAB and run help
2. search utility to change Windows File Associations in the Help window.
3. Find the corresponding description of utility to change Windows File Associations.
4. Click the desired file association.
Note: The above two methods are '. m ','. mat ','. fig ','. P ','. the mdl' file type can be directly used when no program is associated, but when these file types have already been associated with other programs, they need to be re-associated with Matlab. The above two methods are to add the MATLAB program to the file association program directory of the Windows system.
