In the previous blog, I introduced silverlight bing map for windows phone7, but it was not actually developed for windows phone7, so it was unavailable in beta, the official version is used as a control for windows phone7. However, the good news is that the silverlight bing map sdk can run normally in windows phone7. So are there any differences between them before? Next we can see the differences between the two controls.
When the above line appears, it indicates that the idnumber has not been registered and obtained.
Two differences are mentioned. Now we can see the first difference. After loading different controls, the displayed map is different:
Map loaded by the Bing map control
Map loaded by the Map control
The second difference is that the scaling of the bing map control is displayed by default and consistent with that of the WEB version, but the scaling of the map control is not displayed by default, there are only two buttons for scaling. There is no map type switch, and you must set it yourself.

The third difference is that there are many differences between the attributes and functions of the two controls. We can see that the control on phone7 is not a direct revision of the bing map control, but it was modified. It is possible that the bing map control could not run on phone7 completely normally, but it was only known after trying it.
