/root directory

/bin contains the binaries necessary to start and run the system

/boot contains the Linux kernel, the initial RMA disk image (required by the driver at system startup), and the boot loader

Date Displays the current time and date of the system

Cal Displays the current month's calendar

DF View the amount of space remaining on the disk

Free shows the number of idle memory

ls ~/usr lists the contents of the user home directory and/usr directory
