The above describes the environment of Jenkins, due to server migration, we may often meet the important information on the backup server, if you do not want to spend too much effort to reconfigure Jenkins, then you can enter the following:
1. Backing up Jenkins's configuration
Under the/root/.jenkins directory, use the TAR-CVF jenkins.tar. jenkins/* command to package all files in this directory. Then export to local (SZ file name: Export File/compressed package, etc.)
2. Redeploy the Jenkins environment with a backup Jenkins compression pack
2.1 Environmental Support
Need to deploy the Jenkins environment (the previous chapter says)
2.2 Backup Files Jenkins unzip under the directory (root) and restart the Jenkins service
2.3 Browser access to the Jenkins server, if you have user rights restrictions, you can modify the CONFIG./root/.jenkins directory (note, before you modify the file to make it easy to roll back the CP, form a good habit)
