Note: The CentOS 7 and above systems do not support MySQL (to install MySQL needs to be reduced to CENTOS6) 1, run at the command line

Yum-y install mysql-server MySQL mysql-devel

2. Start MySQL

On the command line input: Service mysqld start

3. Change the password

At the command line, enter: Mysql-u root-p

Password hit Enter to log in (the default password is empty)

Set password = password (' 123456 ');

Quit

4. Configure remote connection MySQL permissions

Update user set host= '% ' where user = ' root ';

Select host from user where user= ' root ';

Flush privileges;
