Preparations before installation

To ensure that the software installation can be completed smoothly and avoid errors caused by different software versions, I will release all the software to be installed and download it by myself.

VMware Installation

There seems to be nothing to say about the installation of VMware, just click Next.

Linux-CentOS Operating System Installation

Previously, VMware has been installed and installed, and VMware is running on this basis.

Go to the VMware Workstation homepage and click "new Virtual Machine". The new Virtual Machine wizard is displayed. Select "select Standard" and click "Next.

Because I installed it with an image file, select the installation disk image file here and browse to find the image file, such as D: \ Cent05-5.5 \ CentOS-5.5-i386-bin-DVD.iso

Next, enter the easy install information, which is filled in according to your own situation. below is the information I filled in

Note: the user name and password should be set as complicated as possible. Otherwise, the device is too simple and related information will pop up.

Next, name the VM

Cent05-5.5 (unique here if multiple virtual systems are installed to avoid obfuscation)

D: \ Cent05-5.5 (mirror File Installation Directory, if you need backup, copy it directly)

Next, specify the disk capacity. Here, the default space is 20 GB. If your hard disk is large, you can set it to a greater value.

Next, we will display the preceding installation information. If you want to modify the information, you can reset it here. Click Finish if there is no problem.

The virtual system enters the installer, which is the same as installing a Cent05-5.5 on a computer, no difference. During the automatic installation process, a dialog box is displayed, asking if you want to check the integrity of the image file. Select OK or Skip. Select Skip here.

Then go to the CentOS installation window and click Next

On the language selection page, select Simplified Chinese, and then click Next to install CentOS.
