Linux Learning Diary: the first day

One, log in to Linux

[Email protected]: StartX into the Linux GUI

Prompt to install Xinit, execute:

[Email protected]: sudo apt-get install Xinit

The terminal is turned from black to white black.

To install the desktop environment, execute the following command (the installation takes some time):

[Email protected]:sudo apt-get Install Ubuntu-desktop

Install the Environment Manager, GNOME:

[Email protected]:sudo apt-get Install GDM

After reboot, the graphical login interface is visible.

[Email protected]:shutdown-r now (restart immediately)

[Email Protected]:shutdown-h now (Close immediately)

Then appears:

To switch to the root user:

1. New Rieter Package Manager

sudo apt-get install gsynaptic

2. Wireless Internet Module (if required)

sudo apt-get install network-manager*

3. Chinese Support (can display Chinese)

sudo apt-get install Language-support-zh
