• Partition type on Linux
  • Primary partition: Up to 4
  • Extended partition:
    • There can be up to 1
    • There can be up to 4 primary and extended partitions
    • Cannot write data, only logical partitions are included
  • Logical Partitioning

• Mount (when installing a Linux system with custom partitioning, be aware of), if you need to access external device data (Cd,u disk) on Linux, first mount
  • Required Partitions:
    
    • /(Root partition)
    • Swap partition (swap partition, memory twice times, no more than 2G)
  • Recommended partitions:
    
    • /boot (boot partition, 200MB)
