Linux Modify SSH Port 22
Vi/etc/ssh/sshd_config
Find #port 22
Remove the previous # and modify it to a different port
For example: Port 1890
For enhanced security and management convenience
Add a user with normal permissions and set the password
Useradd your own account
passwd your own password
Accounts and passwords are not recommended for words/common words/Regular characters
Then disable root remote SSH login:
Vi/etc/ssh/sshd_config
Put one of the
Permitrootlogin Yes
Revision changed to
Permitrootlogin No
Finally restart the SSHD service
Service sshd Restart
