Shutdown several commands:

Shutdown-r now # Reboot the system immediately

Shutdown-r +3 # Three minutes after rebooting the system

Shutdown-h now # Close the machine right away

Shutdown-c # Undo Shutdown operation

Shutdown-k now # sends an ' immediate shutdown ' prompt, but does not actually perform a shutdown operation

Shutdown-k +3 # sends the ' shutdown after 3 minutes ' prompt, but does not actually perform a shutdown operation


Poweroff # Turn off the machine

Halt # Turn off the machine

Init 0 # Shutdown

Init 6 # Restart

Reboot # Restart
