Source: Internet
Author: User

Environment:

CentOS 6.5 is installed on a USB flash drive. Can carry with you

Description

I put a system on a USB stick on a machine, the network can be normal use, and then I switch to another machine when the problem arises.

is the inability to use the network.

Performance:

# ifconfig only shows Lo

# Ifconfig-a shows Lo and eth1 not eth0

View:/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/

Where there are ifcfg-eth0 and no ifcfg-eth1.

Modify:

1. #/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

Put more of them can be commented out only to keep a MAC address and ifconfig-a display the same single line, I here is eth1,

Then change the name = "eth1" to Name= "eth0"

2. #/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

and change the Mac to the same as above.

Restart the machine
