LinuxNote4. pre-installed win8 Samsung notebook changed to win7 and then installed Ubuntu for a long time without installing the system. In the past, I installed more than N laptops for students in college. Now it is really troublesome to install a notebook, especially the book preinstalled with win8, which mainly uses UEFI. If you do not understand it, please google it yourself. These two articles are Lenovo's notebook modifications, which are similar to Samsung, but the BIOS settings are not the same. Samsung needs to do this: select BOOT option-Secure Boot to "Disabled" select OS Mode Selection to csm OS select Fast Bios Mode Under the Advanced option to "Disabled". After these settings are completed, F10 exits and saves the settings, then you can start and install the system from the USB flash drive. You can simply burn the Windows 7 system image to a USB flash drive using a soft dish. In this way, after deleting all hard disk partitions, you still cannot install the system. The prompt is: the installer cannot create a new system partition. I went to bios to turn off AHCI and then I could install it. In fact, you can download an AHCI driver first, and load the driver during installation can also properly install the system. After the installation is complete, use Samsung's random software SW update to download the driver. Note that there is a problem with the current integrated video card driver using this tool, that is, the screen brightness cannot be adjusted, later, I went to the ghost website to find a core graphics card driver of HD4000 and installed it. After the installation is complete, you can use the second article recommended above to find pony to activate it and activate the win7 system. After installing win7, delete a disk and install Ubuntu directly under win7. Use easyBCD to start and install Ubuntu from the hard disk. Note that the following title Install Ubunturoot (hd0, 0) kernel (hd0, 0) /vmlinuz boot = casper iso-scan/filename =/ubuntu-11.10-i386.iso ro quiet splash locale = zh_CN.UTF-8initrd (hd0, 0)/initrd. lz I installed a ubuntu-12.04.3-desktop-amd64, and I have a 12.04 M partition in front of win7, that is to say, the C disk is not the first, and does not have the vmlinuz file but vmlinuz. efi should be written as follows: title Install Ubunturoot (hd0, 1) kernel (hd0, 1)/vmlinuz. efi boot = casper iso-scan/filename =/ubuntu-12.04.3-desktop-amd 64. iso ro quiet splash locale = zh_CN.UTF-8initrd (hd0, 1)/initrd. lz is correct, so it can be started normally, but after the installation is started, a problem is found. Ubuntu cannot identify the installed win7 system and can only see one hard disk, if the installation on the entire hard disk fails. Read it carefully and enter [html] cd ~ on the terminal as described in the following figure ~ /Desktop & wget' http://home.comcast.net/~ubuntu_grub/boot_info_script.txt '& Sudo bash boot_info_script.txt obtains a file and finds that the partition table on the hard disk is faulty. As mentioned in the above post, you can clearly understand the signature information of GPT. After the signature is cleared, check that there is no Windows 7. If there is no problem, you can continue to install Ubuntu. Install the manual partitioning of Ubuntu and write the startup information to the/boot directory, then, go to Windows 7 and use easyBCD to add the boot, so that you can use Windows 7 to guide Ubuntu, so that later system reinstallation will not affect each other. In short, the system installation still requires Baidu Google, and the problem is normal.
