A small achievement recently is to teach parents to use tablets.

When Dad wants to watch a documentary and Mom wants to catch up with a TV series, he immediately becomes "more brilliant advertisements ". Most of the time, watching the three sets at night is not fun. I want to see them during the day.

Reasons for rejecting a PC:

1. PC mouse won't be used by parents. I found it inconvenient for Mom and Dad to use the mouse.

2. My coach said, although I can drive a car or a big car (A1 or A2), I just can't type.

3. PCs and TVs must be used in a fixed place, which is inconvenient to move. It is too expensive to buy a SSD notebook.

The detailed steps for hardware setup are

1. Use a router to build a wireless network. If you use a vro, you only need to tell your parents how to turn on the power, and then click on the tablet to connect to the network.

2. Flat Panel. I plan to use TF301. The 10-inch screen is large enough, and it has a base battery life to watch movies for a long time. I have purchased and used it for more than a year without any crashes, and the speed is also very smooth. The system has been upgraded many times and is also very stable. Of course, you can choose a suitable tablet based on the actual situation.

3. Prepare the TV software. I will use PPTV HD here. Of course, you can select the appropriate software based on your actual situation.

The rest is how to download a favorite movie and play it.

Software is classified well, and the input method can be handwritten, which is more convenient.

I have found that it is better not to input more data. The best choice is based on "popular videos.

If you are at home, do not use 3G networks. You 'd better not buy a tablet with 3G functions. If you forget to turn off 3G and download movies (not to mention Mom and Dad, our colleagues often do this ), you just have to wait until the end of the month to pay the Internet fee (the previous colleague seems to have temporarily added a 2 GB traffic package to the phone call to avoid payment ).

Dad can download the movie at home and enjoy it at the store. Mom is also happy, and does not need to go to the TV. As an IT expert, I also had a sense of accomplishment and realized that mobile is changing my life.
