When you convert a Windows virtual machine's VMDK file to Qcow2 by qemu-img and upload the file to OpenStack, the virtual machine fails to start.
This is analyzed because OpenStack uses the Virtio driver by default and the Windows virtual machine does not have the Virtion driver installed.
Workaround: Installing the Virtio drive
1. Open the Windows virtual machine via Virt-manager
2, disk, network card using the default driver, that is, the disk using the IDE, network card using RT
3, add a piece of floopy equipment
4, add a temporary hard disk, set to Virtio mode
5. Start the virtual machine, update the Virtio driver for the new disk and Nic
6, shutdown, delete zero disk, while the original hard disk is set to Virtio mode
7, after the boot, the disk and Nic are Virtio mode.
