Mac OS X Mysql solves the problem of Chinese garbled

After you install MySQL, import the previous database data, including Chinese, may appear garbled.

First look at MySQL character encoding information

Show variables like ' char% ';

As long as there is no problem with the changes, then how to change, when you install the database, under/etc/to find your database configuration file my.cnf

[Mysqld]

Character-set-server = UTF8

[Client]

Default-character-set = UTF8

Then look at the database encoding information from the new one and you'll find that it's changed.
