Mac Vim how to set highlighting

First enter the following directory

Cd/usr/share/vim

Then open VIMRC.

sudo vim VIMRC

Insert the following code in the "Set backspace=2" line in VIMRC:

Set AI                  "Auto indentingset history=100         " keep lines of Historyset ruler               "show the cursor positionsyntax o n               "syntax highlightingset hlsearch            " highlight the last searched Termfiletype plugin on      "Use the file type P Lugins "When editing a file, always jump to the last cursor positionautocmd bufreadpost *\ if!  Exists ("G:leave_my_cursor_position_alone") |\ If Line ("' \" ") > 0 && line (" ' \ "") <= Line ("$") |\ exe "normal G ' \ "" |\ endif |\ endif

Then quit vim and open one, and the color lights up.
