Mac Vim's ALT key does not map properly

<A-j> <M-j> <D-j> Both cannot map the ALT+J key combination.

(1) Use the: H key-notation command to view the mapped characters of the function keys. There is no exception.

(2) Use the: Map command to view the configured mappings. Discovery <A-j> et were escaped into Greek letters.

2 Solutions

To map Alt+j:

(1) Enter insert mode.

(2) Ctrl + V.

(3) Alt+j.

(4) at step (3), the ^[j is printed and the value is set to the mapping key value.

(5) Nmap ^[j mz:m+<cr> ' Z
