Making ISO files under Linux

There are several ways to make ISO files under Linux, as follows:

1. Make ISO file from CD

Cp/dev/cdrom Path/iso file name

Example: Cp/dev/cdrom/opt/mycd.iso, can also use DD If=/dev/cdrom of=/opt/mycd.iso

2, use catalog file to make ISO file

Mkisofs-r-o path/iso filename Directory file path

Example: Mkisofs-r-o/opt/mycd.iso/home

How can I mount the ISO file after I have finished making it?

Mount-o loop ISO file name mount point path

Example: Mount-o loop/opt/mycd.iso/mnt/cdrom
