Manually reinstall magento

If magento has been successfully installed, you do not have to download magento for reinstallation.ProgramFile and then upload a magento package to re-install
Installation, which consumes a lot of time.

In fact, you only need to put the local. xml file in the app/etc folder under the root directory of magento and VaR
Folder to be reinstalled.

The Write File Information of the Installation Wizard values is stored in local. in the XML file, without magento, it will not be able to run, if it finds a local. XML file, but the information contained in the VaR folder will contain the previous settings cache, so it is necessary to delete the content of the VaR folder, so as to effectively avoid using incorrect cache content.

To sum up, magento reinstallation is summarized as follows:

1. Delete the local. xml file in the app/etc folder under the root directory of magento and the files cached in the VaR folder.

2. Clear all tables in the database (if necessary, you can delete the previous database and create an empty database for magento ).

3. Import the sample database or the complete backup database.

After completing the preceding steps, enter your website (domain name or IP address http://www.yourdomain.com/magentoor http://yourip.0.0.1/magento) in your browser. The installation wizard runs automatically. :)
