MAPGISPrint your experiences

1. the height and width in the page settings of MAPGIS refer to the vertical and horizontal pages. They are different from the height and width in the paper settings. The height and width in the paper settings only represent the two values of the paper size, instead of the horizontal and vertical of the paper, the direction of the paper determines the horizontal and vertical values of the two values. When the paper is horizontal, the horizontal and vertical values are greater than the vertical values, that is, the horizontal value is greater than the "height" and "width", and vice versa.
2. in the page settings of MAPGIS, the actual page size is the value of "height" and "width" (which includes the page margin ). the relationship between the width (PAGE) and the image range and the size of the corresponding paper in MAPGIS: the graphic range is less than or equal to the page <Paper (when the margin is 0, the graphic range = page ).
3. in MAPGIS, the sizes of A1, A2, A3 and A4 are equal to the size of the corresponding paper size-10mm margin. for example, the A4 format is 210*297, and the page size is 190*277.
4. the system automatically detects the image size = the image size + 5mm page margin. For example, if the image size is 10*15, the system automatically detects the image size as 20*25.
5. image size = width-width margin. For example, if the size of the A4 width is 210*297 and the size of the image is 5mm * 190 and the size of the image is 277*180.
6. "Set by paper size" means to scale and pan the image with a fixed image range (that is, when the width and margin are determined, make the image fill the entire image range.
7. "constraint" means: If you select "constraint" when setting by paper size, the image scales according to the same horizontal and vertical scales to fill the entire graphic range, this will lead to a blank section in the vertical or horizontal direction.
8. In MAPGIS, the angle is converted to positive counterclockwise and negative clockwise. Therefore, "Rotating 90 degrees" indicates rotating the image 90 degrees counterclockwise.
9. the paper cutting and printing method of the HP designjet 5500 printer is as follows: the width of the paper is 914mm, and its output direction is above it. when printing, the printer will place the page in the paper based on the principle of starting from the lower left corner, then put the paper in the reel, and then from top to bottom, print the output from left to right. that is, the printer determines the size of the reel Based on the defined paper size and horizontal and vertical (the width of the reel paper is 914 unchanged). When the defined paper is horizontal, the size of the reel is a small value defined in the size of the paper. when the defined paper cannot be resized, the printer prints the output continuously and cut the paper based on the "left corner" principle.
10. The "Rotate 90 degrees" in HP designjet 5500 printer is also counter-clockwise. "image" refers to print the output after the image's vertical axis image (that is, the left and right reverse.
11. auto paper in HP designjet 5500 refers to automatic vertical rotation based on the size of the scroll paper (36in = 914) to save on the scroll paper. "deleting the upper/lower blank area" indicates that the printer will print the area with only the drawing size.
12. There are three kinds of paper margin settings for HP designjet 5500 printer, and these three settings are different for different paper models, as shown below:
Small: the four sides are all 5mm.
Normal: The top margin is 35mm, and the sides margin is 7mm. If the paper is a scroll paper, the bottom margin is 7mm. If the paper is a cut paper, the bottom margin is 35mm.
Protection: The top margin is 35mm, and the other three sides are 15mm.
