Issue: Cannot change version of the project facet Dynamic Web Module to 2.4.

Solution:

Locate the project directory. File org.eclipse.wst.common.project.facet.core.xml under Settings to modify it!

Example: E:\workerspace\main\lics\.settings\org.eclipse.wst.common.project.facet.core.xml

Put

<installed facet= "Jst.web" version= "2.3"/>

Switch

<installed facet= "Jst.web" version= "2.4"/>
then save and refresh the project!

Or

In Eclipse's Markers window view, install its error option and delete it!
