Sessions and cookies are more common in storing content

Difference:

SESSION: Stored on the server side, save one copy per person, can store any type of data, default expiration time 15 minutes

Cookies: Stored on the client, each person saves one copy, only the string, the default never expires

SESSION: More secure, can be passed between the page value
