In the past, I decided that mobile phones were used to make phone calls and refused to upgrade. I didn't expect the rapid development of science and technology to make people feel dazzled. However, today's mobile phone development seems to be in the era of Three Kingdoms. In addition to the network competition, platforms, applications, and so on, it is a complicated scene, it takes a long time for me to understand the relationship. Generally, people are in the fog. I have asked some friends around me, but I don't know what 3G is. Some operators have been fooled into switching 3G numbers and mobile phones, but they are still used to make phone calls and send text messages.

 

These messy things are ignored first. Today I want to talk about my personal experience in mobile Internet applications. The advantage of 3G networks is that they are fast and support more network applications. Therefore, the upgrade of mobile phones is necessary. It is best to say that smart phones can support application installation and updates. I generally like to call smart phones as small computers. The development direction is that computers can do things and mobile phones can do things. Now, this goal seems to be getting closer and closer. Those familiar with computer development know that with the development of the network, web is still the direction of computer applications today, including the so-called cloud computing. We also know that Web makes it easier to upgrade and update applications without having to consider the differences between clients too much. However, the development of mobile phone platforms seems to be a little different from that of computers. All this chaos is due to the bite of an apple. As the iPhone becomes increasingly eye-catching, it's a bit confusing for several other mobile phone manufacturers, especially Nokia.

 

Apple's success is indeed a bit hard for many people to understand, especially its app store model. Why are there so many people willing to pay for it? This really makes other mobile phone manufacturers jealous, the replication starts. However, many historical experiences tell us that success can only be used for reference, but cannot be copied.

 

I think Apple is a special example. Although it succeeded, its direction is not necessarily the right direction. In other words, its direction may only be the right direction for Apple, but not for others. The development direction of mobile phones should be the development direction of PCs, but the size of mobile phones is a matter of size. Hardware vendors, such as Nokia, are still dedicated to their own hardware, just like the current Dell. The platform will be handed over to Google and Microsoft for them to get it done. Network operators focus on network management. It is best to unify standards and integrate resources. In terms of applications, with the development of touch technology, it is now easier to browse Web pages with mobile phones. Many companies have established website versions suitable for mobile browsing, such as several large portal websites, there are also some service websites. Therefore, similar to PC, there should be fewer and fewer things to install on your mobile phone, because in more cases, just like a computer, you only need to open your browser, enter the URL.

 

Therefore, Nokia Saipan, Lenovo lephone, Samsung Bada, and mobile ophone do not have to worry about or spend a lot of money to develop any platforms. Instead, they concentrate on doing their jobs well, leave the platform to others with confidence.
