Mobile phone simulator Internet Configuration

The s60 2nd ed fp2 simulator is configured as follows:

1. Start the simulator

2. Select Tools --> preferences

3. Select Ethernet settings in the pop-up window, and then set it as follows:

 
Use the following IP Address
IP Address: XXX. XXX // You are advised to use another available IP address. Otherwise, the IP address may conflict and the Internet cannot be accessed.
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: XXX. XXX

Use the following DNS servers
Preferred DNS server: XXX. XXX
Alternat DNS server: XXX. XXX

Note:
If the URL is automatically obtained, select obtain an IP address automaticly and obtain DNS server address automaticly;

If proxy is used, select use proxy and enter the proxy server name and proxy server port;
The simulator must be regarded as an independent virtual operating system according to the changes in the network environment.

How to Set. The last thing to note is that once the above settings change, it is best to restart the simulator, otherwise it will not work.
