Modify and reset the MySQL password under WampServer, wampservermysql

In the Wampserver PHP environment, modify and reset the mysql database logon password, and run the mysql command.

• Windows
• WampServer

Method/step 1

1.  

   Start WampServer, click the icon WampServer-> MySQL Console (M)

2.  

   Enter the password. The default password of WampServer is blank. Press enter.

3.  

   Enter use mysql to enter the current Database. The console prompts "Database changed]

4.  

   Enter [update user set password = PASSWORD ('password to modify ') where user = 'root';]. The console prompts [Query OK, XXXXXXXXX ]. (Remember ";").

5.  

   Finally, enter [flush privileges;] and submit (remember to have ";").

6.  

   Enter quit to exit. The logon password is successfully modified.
