Modifying the Linux boot path

Virtual machine running in different virtual environment, you will encounter failure to enter the system startup problems, you need to change the root=/dev/sda1 to root=/dev/hda1 or other paths, to normal access to the system. Two workarounds:

1. A virtual machine that is already powered on

At startup, press ' E ', select Modify Kernal startup item, then you can see ROOT=/DEV/SDA1, press E to edit, modify the required path. Then press ENTER, exit edit mode, and then press ' B ' to start the system.

2, directly modify the configuration file

Edit the/boot/grub/menu.lst configuration file, find the relevant entry to modify it, restart the effective. (It is recommended to back up and modify it first)
